How to repair when front door is not closing well - My money / Repairer call / Door Closure Repair / Front door height adjustment

1) The reason why the front door doesn't close is because

There are two main reasons why the front door doesn't close well. One is when the door closure on the left or upper right side of the front door fails to speed. The door closure adjusts the door closing speed according to the set hydraulic pressure. If the hydraulic pressure is set too weak, the high speed cannot be achieved at the time when the secondary hydraulic pressure is applied. At times like this, you can easily solve it by yourself

2) Close the front door using door closure speed control

If you look at the side of the dozer enclosure, you can see a straight screw-shaped regulator that can fit a straight screwdriver. There are two straight screws on the top and bottom, and the bottom one controls the speed from when the door is wide open to 70% and the top one when the door is almost closed. The speed can be adjusted by turning clockwise/counterclockwise. Simply put, think of the screw. When the screw is loosened, the door closes quickly, and when the screw is tightened, the door closes slowly. In other words, if you turn it counterclockwise, the screw is released and the door closes quickly, and if you turn it clockwise, the screw is tightened and the door closes slowly.

- There are screws at the top and bottom. Each controls the speed of the door

- Take care of the screw on the top when the door is wide open and 70% closed

- Take care of the screw at the bottom when the door is 70% closed ~ fully closed

- If you tighten the screws clockwise, the door will close slowly

- If you tighten the screws counterclockwise, the door closes quickly

    * * It can be considered the same as the principle of tightening and loosening general screws

3) Adjust the hinge height if the front door collapses and scratches the sea

However, even if the door closure is adjusted, the door may not close well. The angle of the hinge of the front door is twisted, and the front door is scratched by the sea.The hinges of the front door naturally bend or recline over time. In this case, the end of the door touches the sea and scratches occur, and the front door naturally becomes difficult to close. Of course, you can close the door hard. However, if it is closed strongly, the front door will be damaged, and it may cost more in the future, so quick repairs are needed.

If you lift up the screw in the lower left corner

-> The whole door is lifted so that it doesn't get scratched by the sea. If you open it, you can see it.

The author called a business operator because the front door was not closed well. In conclusion, I was embarrassed that the situation was over within 10 minutes. The person in question was a person who only fixed the front door, but the height of the hinge at the bottom of the front door was adjusted to solve it simply.

The principle of this part is also simple. Since the end of the front door is scratched by the sea, you can lift the front door a little higher. The front door is bent in the form of "📏", but even if the front door is bent, the scratch phenomenon disappears because it is heard from the sea bundle when the hinge is lifted. Of course, the fundamental solution is to remove all hinges, tie cement or iron, and restore the front door to a '-' form, but this will lead to great construction.

It is to endure until it can be solved simply in terms of cost/time. It is also simple to lift the front door. First, remove the front door and set it apart. Then, rotate the circular support screw located at the bottom of the front door and place it a little higher than before. If the position of the screw is raised too high, the upper left side of the front door will not get caught in the wall, and if it is placed too low, the lower right side will be scratched by the sea bundle.  Therefore, the key is to find an appropriate position where the front door does not get scratched by the sea and does not get caught by the wall. Turn the screw located on the lower hinge to find the right position, and reassemble the front door to finish the work.

- In the example above, the hinges of the front door are located one at the top left and one at the bottom left

- The front door can be removed by loosening the screw on the upper left (the lower left is a fixed rod type, so it can be removed immediately)

- The lower left hinge has a function to adjust the height of the door by turning a circular plate

- Remove the door and raise the height to prevent the door from being scratched by the sea

It would be very difficult to think vaguely, but the hinge of the front door is not that difficult because it is a process of reassembling while fixed to the wall.  At first, I didn't know how to do this, so I spent a huge amount of 90 $ to repair it. However, if I knew how, I could easily repair myself at home. Of course, if you are a weak woman or a person who is afraid to use their dexterity, it is wise to ask a businessman to repair it. However, if you are somewhat confident in your dexterity, you will be able to save money by self-repair
